Just a reminder, the Power Rankings this season donвЂ™t just rank the 30 teams. But as we rank the 30 squads, everybody is getting a goal for this season as we near the halfway point despite over 100 players being taken out of action during the past month. As we dive into Week 12 of the Power Rankings, I decided to throw some New YearвЂ™s resolutions out there for each team. Or this year maybe it will just be avoiding health and safety protocols as much as possible. For NBA players, maybe something along the lines of better shot selection or not turning the ball over so much works as a resolution. NBA players and teams, however, donвЂ™t have to do the whole, вЂњIвЂ™m going to the gym every day starting Jan. Resolutions get made, and sometimes they even get completed throughout the year. They decide whatвЂ™s important to them moving forward and what needs to slough off from their lives. WhatвЂ™s up with Milwaukee? After two straight losses to the Hornets, the Bucks are now 26-17. DonвЂ™t tell this young squad that they canвЂ™t win. This team keeps getting better and better. But letвЂ™s not forget Memphis defeated the Warriors last season, 117-112 in the Western Conference, to become the eighth seed in the NBA Playoffs. Of course, it will be difficult for the Grizzlies to go all the way. The Grizzlies are currently sitting at +4200 to win the NBA Finals. So yeah, Memphis will be in the postseason. Portland is currently the 10th seed at just 16-24. Memphis is currently 29-14 and will absolutely make the postseason. Chicago is built to win right now and proves it each week. This team has plenty of stars and potential. Sitting at just +2100, itвЂ™s time to start eying the Bulls at this point. If the Bulls can beat the Nets, Chicago will be in a great position throughout the week. On Wednesday, theyвЂ™ll take on the Brooklyn Nets. The Chicago Bulls are currently 27-11 and lead the East by 2.5 games.
